Smithers Viscient to sponsor first Nidderdale run

HARROGATE, UK – May 4th, 2017 – Smithers Viscient, a global contract research organization (CRO), announced today that it is sponsoring the first annual Nidderdale Run.

The first annual Nidderdale Run, organised by the Rotary Club of Harrogate, will be held on 7th May 2017 on the same day as the well-established and highly successful Nidderdale Walks that are hosted by Ripley Castle.

The 20-mile route starts and finishes in Ripley Castle, which is situated three miles from Harrogate in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

“Smithers Viscient is delighted to sponsor the first Nidderdale Run in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Harrogate,” said Steve Dean, Managing Director, Smithers Viscient. Dean continues, “This run is a great way to help fund the many worthy local charities set in the idyllic Yorkshire countryside, credit to the excellent work of the Rotary Club of Harrogate and all those involved to make this possible.”

The President Elect of the Rotary Club of Harrogate, Patrick Doherty, said that the sponsorship provided by Smithers Viscient is “very welcome, as it will enable us to enhance the run experience for all participants and contribute towards making this a very successful event.”

All registered runners will receive a gift courtesy of Smithers Viscient.
